Beyond the Hype: How Practical AI Is Helping Real Businesses Today
AI is a tool, like any other—it’s about using it right
Why should businesses pay attention to AI right now?
AI isn't just a passing phase—it’s changing the way we solve problems. We’re at a point where AI has gone from a research curiosity to a practical tool. It can tackle tasks traditional software can’t handle, like making sense of unstructured data or spotting subtle patterns. Automating routine work is just the beginning—AI can also help solve complex problems that would otherwise take teams of people too much time.
What specific problems can AI help businesses solve?
AI shines when there's too much data for a person to handle effectively. Picture a customer support system that not only reads what people are saying but also detects their mood, letting you know who needs help first. AI can sift through massive datasets, pick up trends, and make reliable predictions—think sales forecasts or spotting irregularities in manufacturing. We combine AI with traditional methods to find the smartest way forward.
Make sense of AI and filter the good from the bad
What sets ARTIN apart in the AI space?
We don’t follow AI just because it’s popular. For us, AI is one tool among many, and we use it when it’s the right tool for the job. If something can be solved without AI, we'll say so. But if AI is the way to go, we make sure it’s effective and delivers results. We focus on solving real problems—not just providing shiny technology that doesn’t add value.
Why should a business choose us as their AI partner?
Tomáš: We’ve been at this for over 25 years, and it’s not just about the technology. We understand how to fit AI into existing business systems so that it’s actually useful. Our approach is all about keeping things human-focused. We don’t want to replace jobs—we want to take away repetitive tasks so people can do the creative work that matters.
Responsibility is not just a buzzword; it’s how we treat our clients, colleagues, and society at large
AI represents a perpetual change. But is there a constant that has defined our company for the whole 25 years?
From the beginning, ARTIN has been built on three core principles:
- Always do something extra for the client. Go beyond their expectations.
- Create a great place to work. It should be somewhere people look forward to every day. Happy employees are more motivated to make the customer happy, too.
- Keep it simple and professional. The simplest solution is often the best one. If a client needs a truck to move rocks, we’re not interested in adding a bunch of extras that don’t help.
These principles guide our AI projects too. We want technology to serve people, not the other way around.
How do you determine if AI is right for a business?
AI is not magic. It’s a tool—just another shovel in the gardening shed. For some tasks, a spade might be better. If you’re considering AI, think about whether you truly need it. Is your problem complex enough that traditional methods struggle to solve it? Do you have the data in the quality necessary to make AI work? We’ll always tell you when AI isn’t the right fit. But if it is, we’ll help you unlock its potential.
We start by understanding the real problem. Our AI consulting experts analyze customers’ visions and offer the best solutions. We know that AI is great for complex, repetitive tasks or for making sense of big datasets. But sometimes a traditional solution works better—we’ll come up with another approach that makes more sense. We can do both AI, more traditional approach, and a combination of the two. And thanks to the years of experience, we always look several steps ahead.
With over 250 employees, what’s the best way for a company to give back?
For us, being socially responsible is about giving people the power to make changes. CSR isn’t a publicity stunt; it’s something that’s embedded in our DNA. Every employee can suggest causes they care about, and we match their contributions. We don’t do it for publicity—we do it because it matters to our team.
We’ve also backed projects like Robotiáda—a robotics competition for kids—to get them excited about problem-solving and technology. And there are various hackathons or grassroots initiatives. It’s about having socially responsible people around you—not just socially responsible managers cutting checks.
You mentioned Robotiáda, a competition for children. How do you think AI and technology in general will influence the future of education?
Education is critical, especially now. Information is everywhere, but what’s missing is the ability to work with the information, think critically, solve problems, and be creative. That’s what today’s kids need, and that’s why we support these educational programs. The next generation is the one that’s going to live with AI every day, take it, and push it further. It’s important to help prepare them for that.
We’re here to offer solutions—the right solutions—that make a real difference. And we’re having a lot of fun doing it.
What should businesses do if they want to explore the possible ways AI will help their business?
The first step is a conversation. We want to hear about your challenges and figure out if AI is the answer. We’re not here to push AI if it doesn’t make sense. We’ll be straightforward about what’s possible, and if it fits, we’ll work out a plan that makes sense for your business.
The businesses that are willing to adapt and make use of AI are going to set the pace. Whether it's making your customers happier, improving efficiency, or innovating in ways you haven’t thought of yet, AI can make a big difference. And we’re here to make sure it works for you.
