Business Development Manager (Sales)

Are you a Software Developer, Project Manager, Product Manager, Scrum Master, or another IT-related position and thinking about how to leverage your knowledge in the business world? Are you drawn to having more direct customer contact, searching for new opportunities, and developing business? Then this opportunity is just for you!

At ARTIN, we are looking for someone with a technical background but also with the drive and determination to become a great Business Development Manager. Your mission will be to establish new business partnerships and expand our sales activities. We don't need a sales professional – we are happy to welcome someone who has primarily been on the delivery side but wants to shift and bring their know-how into the business field.

Right now, we are working on a new acquisition strategy, so it will be a chance for you to bring your perspective and ideas. And if you enjoy challenges and are used to finding creative solutions, you’ll feel right at home with us! You won’t be alone, though – you can count on support from our Head of Sales, Martina Pokorná, and the sales and marketing team.

What will you do?

  • Building and developing relationships with clients in the Czech Republic (and foreign markets).
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities – from the first contact to meetings and lead qualification.
  • Working on opportunities for custom software development for ARTIN.
  • Preparing proposals in cooperation with our consultants and delivery team, and presenting them to customers.
  • Negotiating of contracts and business terms with the support of the CRM system, business presentations and participation in trade fairs and professional and networking events.   

Let’s meet if:

  • You have an IT background and either business experience or the ambition to transition into a business development role.
  • You speak English at least at a communicative level (B2+) and are fluent in Czech.
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
